Climate & Weather

How is the climate there when I am going to visit?

Java Island has only 2 seasons, dry season in May – October and rainy season in November – April. The temperature is almost same throughout a year, daytime highs around 91℉/33℃. The sun is very strong, so please bring a hat and sunglasses. During the rainy season, it rains almost every day. Please be sure to bring rain gear such as umbrella and raincoat.

 

Transportation

What kind of car do you use?

We always use TOYOTA Innova for 1-4 persons group, TOYOTA Hiace for more than 5 persons group.
All types of car are fully air-conditioned and has seatbelts.

TOYOTA Innova : 7 seats
TOYOTA Hiace : 13 seats

 

Do you have car seats for child?

Yes, we have some simple car seats for child and we will prepare it in your car upon your request.

 

Guide

If I choose “without guide” or “Spot Guide”, who can I meet with in the port? 

Our English driver will wait for you at the port. During the tour, the driver will take care of you ( but the driver is not going to enter the tourist sites ).

Can you provide other language guide? 

Yes, we can. We have other language guide for example French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese(Mandarin).
As we calculated our tour costs as with English guide, additional guide cost might be imposed.
If you would like to have other language guide service, please contact us by inquiry form in each tour page.

 

Lunch

What kind of lunch is included?

Basically we provide standard Indonesian menu that all types of travellers can try. We will choose the restaurants where are suitable for foreign travellers.
But as food preference and meal rules are very varios and sensitive, we would like to be flexible about the lunch we provide in our tours. Specifically, we will show you some options when your booking is confirmed. So you can choose the lunch you like from our options.

 

I am allergic to a certain food. Can you provide the food that is suitable to me?

Yes, we can. Please let us know your food preference in advance.

Can you provide the food for vagetarian/vegan?

Yes, we can. Please let us know your food preference in advance.

Can you provide kids menu?

Yes, we can. Please let us know in advance.

Is it ok if I waive the lunch that is included in the tour?

Yes, no problem. If you inform us in advance, we will show you the tour cost that the lunch cost is omitted.

Dress Code

Any dress code to visit the temples?

No actually. But the temple parks are huge and there are some stairs. A pair of walking shoes and comfortable clothes are recommended.

 

Payment

Do you accept payment in foreign currency except for USD?

Yes. Please inform us in advance so that we can show you the tour cost that is calculated by our exchanging rate.

Do you accept credit card payment?

Partly yes. As our office is in Borobudur, if you visit Borobudur, we can accept credit card payment. For the tours that don’t include Borobudur, please pay in cash.
